Chinese regulators outlined plans to establish sweeping new standards for the financial industry by 2025, covering digital currency, cross-border yuan settlements, green finance and fintech.
The country plans to improve standardization in a wide range of areas, including supervision, risk prevention, financial technology, green finance and digital currency, with the goal of basically setting up “a standard system compatible with the modern financial system.”
