China Film Co. Ltd, a Chinese company engaged in film production and distribution, said that its first-half net profit is expected to reach 280 – 380 million yuan, skyrocketing 1,287.12% – 1,782.52% from the same period last year.
A total of 20 movies jointly produced by the company were released in the first half of the year, which generated a total of 14.67 billion yuan in box office revenue, surging from the 8.06 billion yuan in the same period in 2022, it said.
