China urges US to create good environment for healthy bilateral relations at start of Yellen’s visit

The US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen’s visit in China from July 6 to 9 is a step to implement the consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries in the Island of Bali and to strengthen communication and exchange between the two countries in economy and finance, said China’s Ministry of Finance on Friday morning, in response to questions about Yellen’s China visit.

The essence of China-US economic and trade relations is mutually beneficial and win-win and trade war, decoupling and breaking the supply chain leaves no winner, it said.

“We hope that the US side to take practical action to create a good environment for the healthy development of the bilateral economic and trade relations and achieve mutual benefits, it said.
