China, US agreed to promote humanities exchanges, discuss increasing passenger flight – foreign ministry

China’s Foreign Minister Qin Gang and US Secretary of State Antony Blinken reached a positive consensus on promoting humanities exchanges between the two countries, to discuss increasing passenger flights between China and the US, and to welcome more students, scholars and business people to visit each other’s countries, said Mao Ning, spokesperson of China’s Foreign Ministry.

“The Chinese and US authorities maintain communications on increasing passenger flights, and we are willing to work with the US side to promote the increase of flights in a flexible and pragmatic manner,” he said.
