China’s auto exports reached 442.7 bn yuan in Jan – Aug, surging 104.4% on year

In the first eight months of this year, China exported 8.97 trillion yuan of electronic and mechanical products, representing a year-on-year growth of 3.6% and accounting for 58% of the total export value, according to the General Administration of Customs .

Among them, exports of automated data processing equipment and its parts and components reached 849.27 billion yuan, falling 19%; handset exports reached 513.5 billion yuan, sliding 7.5%, while automobile exports reached 442.7 billion yuan, surging 104.4%, showed the data.

Exports of labour-intensive products reached 2.71 trillion yuan, falling by 2.4% from a year earlier, accounting for 17.5% of the total, showed the data. Among them, exports of clothing and clothing accessories reached 745.28 billion yuan, falling by 2.9%.
