China’s corn prices have rallied this year, with futures in Dalian hitting a new record high on Wednesday, boosted by rising demand for animal feed as the country's pig herd recovers from African swine fever.

China's corn futures on the Dalian Commodity Exchange closed the day trading session on Wednesday at 2,731 yuan per tonne, the highest on record.
