China’s lithium carbonate price fell for 23rd straight day to hit new low in two months

China’s battery-grade lithium carbonate price fell by 3,000 yuan per tonne to 244,000 yuan per tonne on Friday, marking a new low in more than two months and sliding for the 23rd straight day, according to the Shanghai Metals Market. 

The price fell by 18,500 yuan per tonne in the recent five days and by 63,000 yuan per tonne in the recent 30 days. 

The price battery-grade lithium hydroxide fell by 2,500 yuan per tonne to 227,500 yuan per tonne, marking a new low in more than three months and sliding for the 20th straight day, showed the data.

The price fell by 18,500 yuan per tonne in the recent five days and by 66,500 yuan per tonne in the recent 30 days.
