China’s top diplomat Wang Yi met with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken

Wang Yi, director of the Office of the Foreign Affairs Commission of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, met with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken in Beijing, China’s state broadcaster CCTV reported. 

Wang said that the deterioration of Sino-US relations is rooted in the latter’s mistaken understanding of China, which has resulted in incorrect policies towards China.

Wang urged the US to remove unilateral sanctions against China, stop surpressing China’s technological development and stop intervening in China’s domestic affairs.
