China to study stronger policy measures to attract foreign investment, to further shorten negative list for foreign investment – state planner NDRC

China will study stronger policy measures to attract foreign investment, optimise the business environment with fair competition, smooth the flow of innovative factors and promote cooperation between domestic and foreign companies, said the National Development and Reform Commission, China’s state planner. 

The country will shorten the negative list of foreign investment and study measures to expand foreign investment in Hainan Free Trade Port, it said

China will further improve the service to promote foreign investment, hold a series of international investment cooperations, provide a platform for multinational companies to invest in China and for local authorities to attract investment, improve the mechanism of direct contact points for foreign firms to facilitate their investment and operations, it said.
