China’s battery-grade lithium carbonate price remains unchanged at three-month low

The price of battery-grade lithium carbonate in China remains unchanged at 205,000 yuan per tonne on Monday, which is the lowest level in more than three months, according to the Shanghai Metals Market.

The price declined by 14,500 yuan per tonne in the recent five days and by 80,000 yuan per tonne in the recent 30 days.

The price of battery-grade lithium hydroxide fell by 1,000 yuan per tonne to 189,000 yuan per tonne, also the lowest level in more than three months and sliding for the 36th consecutive day, showed the data.The price declined by 8,000 yuan per tonne in the recent five days and by 78,500 yuan per tonne in the recent 30 days.

China’s most-traded lithium carbonate futures contract on the Guangzhou Futures Exchange, for January 2024 delivery, gained 1% to close at 189,90 yuan per tonne.
