Overseas institutional investors's holdings of China's interbank bonds stood at 3.28 trillion yuan ($477.72 billion) as of the end of January, lower than 3.39 trillion yuan at the end of December and accounting for 2.6% of the total custody of the country's interbank bond market, according to data released by the PBOC.
Of that, they held 2.23 trillion yuan of Chinese government bonds bonds and 720 billion yuan of other financial bonds, showed the data.
