China’s Foreign Minister Qin Gang and US Secretary of State Antony Blinken held candid, in-depth and constructive exchanges during a two-day visit to China, according to state media.

The China-US relationship is at the lowest point since its establishment and that does not serve the fundamental interests of the two peoples or meet the shared expectations of the international community, Qin said.

Beijing is committed to building a stable, predictable and constructive relationship with the US and China hopes that the US will adopt an objective and rational perception of China, work with China in the same direction, and handle unexpected and sporadic events in a calm, professional and rational manner, Qin said.

Taiwan was the most prominent risk for China-US relations and one of “China’s core interests”, he said.

The two sides decides to implement the important consensus reached by the two counties leaders in Bali island, control differences and promote communications and cooperations, the sate media said.

Blinken invited Qin to visit the U.S., and Qin expressed his readiness to make the visit at a mutually convenient time.
