China’s lithium carbonate price fell for 22nd straight month to hit two-month low

The price of battery-grade lithium carbonate declined by 2,000 yuan per tonne to 247,000 yuan per tonne on Thursday, marking a new low in more than two months and sliding for the 22nd straight day, according to the Shanghai Metals Market. 

The price fell by 19,000 yuan per tonne in the recent five days and by 60,000 yuan per tonne in the recent 30 days. 

The price of battery-grade lithium carbonate fell by 2,500 yuan per tonne to 230,000 yuan per tonne, also the lowest in more than two months and falling for the 19th straight month, showed the data.

The price fell by 19,000 yuan per tonne in the recent five days and by 65,000 yuan per tonne in the recent 30 days.
