China’s non-manufacturing activities expanded at slower pace in Jun – official survey

China official non-manufacturing activities expanded at a slower pace in June, with the official non-manufacturing PMI falling to 53.2 from 54.5 in the previous month, according to the National Bureau of Statistics. 

In breakdown, the PMI for construction activities fell to 55.7% in June, down 2.5 percentage points from the previous month, while the index for service activities fell to 52.8, down 1 percentage point from the previous month, showed the data. 

The sub-index for new orders remained unchanged at 49.5, with that for construction at 48.7, down 0.8 percentage point, and that for service at 48.6, rising by 0.7 percentage point. 

The sub-index for employment stood at 46.8, down 1.6 percentage point from the previous month, with the sub-index for construction at 47.2, down 1.3 percentage point, and that for service at 46.7, down 1.6 percentage point.
